Congratulations Doug Denby OAM

Douglas Denby was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to people with disability through sport, serving on the executive of the Australian Paralympic Committee from 1996 to 2013. He was awarded life membership of Riding for the Disabled Australia in 2006 having previously served as President and Treasurer and accompanied paralympic equestrian teams to three Olympics. Doug was a much-valued supporter of RDA NSW Tall Timbers Centre. He was a Committee Member for many years and was actively involved in many aspects of the Centre’s development and fundraising. Congratulations Doug, well deserved.

Very professionally run program....lovely people....and the horses are beautiful!

This program has benefited her so much. Even years ago, when she barely left the house, and we had to start homeschooling, this was a constant for her. Even then we had days where we had to cancel due to her anxiety. Now to see her go without anxiety, communicate with the volunteers on her own (I've actively tried to step back) and even cope with trotting (previously a lot of movement would cause panic). It is nothing short of amazing.
