Rebecca was the Lions Club of Kuringai Encouragement Award winner for 2019 because she showed great improvement at Tall Timbers and reached multiple goals in a short time riding with us in both the mechanical horse program and Saturday group riding program.
Rebecca’s mum, Nicky said … I am sure that her experience at RDA has increased her confidence, communication and awareness and significantly contributed to her reaching her goals. She really put herself out there and gave everything her best shot. She earned a distinction in her ballet exam and performed four dances at their end of year concert. She also performed in the school variety show. She improved significantly in her attachment issues when transitioning from home to school and she is becoming much better at recognising her needs and how to achieve them in a positive way. She is also improving in expressing her feelings with appropriate language. Rebecca will definitely be accepting the offer of another year of riding.
